Privacy Policy

DL Studio ("we") protects the privacy of everyone who uses the iOS app Impulse Court ("the Service"). This policy explains what we do and do not collect.

1. No accounts, no identity

The Service has no registration and no login. We do not collect or store names, contact details, or government identifiers.

2. Data that stays on your device

Your case history — item names, amounts, verdicts, the running total you have "saved", and appeal history — is stored only on your device and is never sent to our server. Deleting the app deletes it.

3. Data stored on our server when you share

Only when you tap "Share", the following is stored so that others can vote:

• What is stored: the item name and amount you typed, the backstory you picked from a fixed list, the verdict, and vote counts
• Retention: 24 hours, then deleted along with voting
• Exception: if you opt in to the public Gallery, or we feature a case editorially, the item, amount, and verdict text are kept for up to 30 days and then deleted

Trials you do not share are never stored on our server.

4. What becomes public when you share

Sharing makes the item name and amount you typed visible to anyone with the link. If you opt in to the Gallery, they become visible to the public. Nothing that identifies the author is published alongside them.

Please do not type real names, contact details, or anything that identifies another person. We run an automatic filter for inappropriate content, and every case in the Gallery can be reported and its author blocked from inside the app. Reported cases may be hidden.

5. Anonymous identifier

To prevent duplicate voting and abuse, the app generates a random anonymous value on your device. It is not the advertising identifier (IDFA) and not a hardware ID, and it cannot identify you. It disappears when you delete the app.

6. Advertising and App Tracking Transparency

The Service shows Google AdMob ads to cover operating costs.

• The advertising identifier (IDFA) is used for personalized ads only if you choose "Allow" in the iOS tracking prompt.
• If you decline or ignore it, you will see non-personalized ads only (NPA), and every feature of the app works exactly the same.
• You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
• Google's handling of ad data is governed by its own policy: How Google uses information from partner sites

Watching a rewarded ad is always optional, and a free alternative is always offered alongside it.

7. In-app purchase

"Remove Ads" is billed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store card or bank details. Purchases are verified through Apple's StoreKit receipt only, on your device.

8. Notifications

Retrial reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent to a server to deliver them, and we do not collect push tokens. You can turn notification permission off at any time in iOS Settings.

9. International transfer and processors

• Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — server hosting, storage, and AI verdict generation (Workers AI). Transferred: item name, amount, chosen backstory.
• Google LLC (USA) — ad delivery (AdMob). Transferred: advertising identifier and related ad data, only if you allowed tracking.
• Text sent for AI verdict generation is discarded immediately after processing and is not used for training. Retention of shared trials is as stated in section 3.

10. What we never collect

No government IDs, no payment credentials, no location, no contacts, no photos, no health data. The app does not request photo library access — verdict images leave the app only through the system share sheet.

11. Children

The Service is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

12. Your rights

You can delete on-device history from inside the app or by deleting the app. To delete a trial you shared, email us the case number and we will remove it without delay.

14. Changes
